1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport, and International Relations Committee.
2.1 The papers were noted.
3.1 The Motion was agreed.
4.1 The Committee discussed any issues arising from the papers.
4.2 The Committee agreed to write to the First Minister in relation to item 2.4.
4.3 The Committee agreed to write to the UK Government seeking further information, following correspondence from the Welsh Government under item 2.6.
4.4 The Committee agreed to write to the Welsh Government in follow-up to their correspondence under item 2.7.
4.5 The Committee agreed it would also write to the UK Government and the Welsh Government seeking further information in relation to item 2.8.
5.1 The Committee discussed their views on the topic to feed into a response, and agreed to consider their draft submission to the review at the next available meeting.
6.1 The Committee considered the key issues paper, and agreed to return to this item following the planned visit to Big Pit National Coal Museum on 13 March 2025.
7.1 The Committee discussed the draft letter, and agreed to approve it following minor amendments.
8.1 The Committee noted the Order and the Regulations, and agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Welsh Language confirming the decision not to scrutinise the draft legislation.
9.1 The Committee discussed and confirmed its approach to its new inquiry ‘Cymraeg for all?’, and agreed to move forward with oral evidence sessions beginning on 5 March 2025.
